HUMAN AFFAIRS COMMITTEE April 29, 2013 A meeting of the Human Affairs Committee was held Thursday, April 29, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in the Aldermanic Chamber. Alderman-at-Large Lori Wilshire, Chairman, presided. Members of the Committee present: Alderman June M. Caron Alderman Mary Ann Melizzi-Golja Alderman Daniel T. Dowd AMENDING THE COMPOSITION OF THE REVIEW AND COMMENT COMMISSION  Also assigned to Personnel; Final Passage Recommended – 8/20/12  Tabled 9/6/12 Human Affairs – 04/29/13 Page 2 GENERAL DISCUSSION PUBLIC COMMENT REMARKS BY THE ALDERMEN Alderman Melizzi-Golja Alderman Wilshire and I were at Cotton Mill Square for the dedication earlier this evening. The Board of Aldermen were thanked for their support of the project, not only what’s happening with the building but also in terms of what’s going on with the dam. I am placing in the back cotton of a more sweeter variety than what was produced at Cotton Mill Square. It’s back there by the mailboxes if you would care for some. Chairman Wilshire I’d also like to say that I’m very pleased that this project is moving forward. I think it’s going to be a great asset here in the community.
