scheduled on February 10, 2018 as a City Council sponsored Special
Event and approve the expenditure of funds.
2. Approve and accept donations from various individuals, businesses
or community groups to support the event.

18-202 Punx to support the March 10, 2018 Beautification Project-Litter
Pick Up in the Buena Vista Neighborhood. (Davis)
Recommendation: a) Approve the purchase of a $100 Safeway gift card for Trash
Punx to purchase breakfast and beverages for its volunteers to be
paid by Council District 6’s Office Funds.
b) Place the item on the April 3, 2018 Council Agenda for action.

Recommendation: Place this item on a City Council agenda to revise the Legislative
Priorities approved by the Council at the January 30, 2018 meeting
to include the language on Costa-Hawkins originally proposed by
staff, which read as follows: Strengthen rent stabilization, including
the repeal of Costa-Hawkins.
