1. CC 18-183 Third Quarter Financial Reports for Fiscal Year 2017-2018. (Finance)
Recommendation: 1) Accept the third quarter (period ending March 31, 2018) financial
reports for Fiscal Year 2017-2018 for the follwoing programs:
(a) Debt Management;
(b) Investment Management;
(c) Revenue Collection; and
2) Forward recommendation to the City Council to adopt a resolution
authorizing the Director of Finance to write-off uncollectible debts in an
amount up to $496,681.64; and
3) Refer the Third Quarter Financial Reports for Fiscal Year 2017-2018
to the June 5, 2018, City Council meeting for full adoption.

1. CC 18-184 Public Safety Communications Interoperability Semi-Annual Report. (Police)
Recommendation: Accept the semi-annual report on the public safety communications and
data systems that promote interoperability for first responders in San
José and the Bay Area.

Recommendation: Accept the annual report on the Fire Department’s firefighter cancer
prevention efforts.

3. CC 18-186 San José Community Resiliency Plan Status Report. (City Manager - Office
of Emergency Management)
Recommendation: Accept the status report on the San José Community Resiliency Plan,
developed with partners such as FEMA, ABAG, the County, and the
private sector, that aligns resources and information to enable the
community to better recover from a disaster.
