K.O. Lee Aberdeen Public Library Board of Trustees Meeting Minutes February 6, 2018. The K.O. Lee Aberdeen Public Library Board met on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at 5:00 pm at the library. Present were Sandy Andera, Troy McQuillen, Peter Ramey, Sharon Bain, and Library Director Shirley Arment. The meeting was called to order. Sandy Andera moved that the minutes of the January 9 meeting be approved. Sharon Bain seconded. Motion carried. The librarian’s report, as presented, was discussed. FINANCIAL MATTERS The current list of bills and financial statements were discussed. Troy McQuillen moved that the current list of bills be paid and that the financial reports be received and placed on file. Sandy Andera seconded. Motion carried. UNFINISHED BUSINESS Board members Troy McQuillen and Peter Ramey related the outcomes from the Strategic Planning Committee session that was held on January 31, 2018. The next step in the process will be a community survey and a community retreat/discussion session which will be held in April. Troy McQuillen moved to renew the library’s subscription to the Dear Reader Select Reads database for 2018. Sharon Bain seconded. Motion carried. Shirley Arment updated the Board on the library building issues, letting them know that the Building engineer, architect and construction company are all working in the issue. NEW BUSINESS There was no new business. The meeting was adjourned.
