Market Street, Aberdeen, Washington. The meeting was conducted as a hybrid meeting with in-person, virtual and telephonic participation options. COUNCIL MEETING Call to Order: The regular meeting of the Aberdeen City Council was called to order at 6:30 P.M. by Mayor Schave Roll Call: Ellis, Francy, Gakin, Kachman, Lawrence, Morrison, Pieraccini, Ross, Sidor, Taylor & Mayor Schave Motion by Council President Kachman, seconded by Councilmember Ross to excuse Councilmembers Maki and Shaw. Carried by voice vote. Flag Salute Approval of the Agenda Motion by Council President Kachman, seconded by Councilmember Sidor to approve the Agenda. Carried by voice vote. First reading of Bill 23-15, an Ordinance providing for the 2024 Levy upon taxable property within the City of Aberdeen. Motion to adopt the first reading by Councilmember Pieraccini, seconded by Councilmember Sidor. Carried by voice vote. First reading of Bill 23-16, an Ordinance adopting the preliminary 2024 Budget. Motion to adopt the first reading by Councilmember Pieraccini, seconded by Councilmember Sidor. Carried by voice vote. Public Safety: Chair report from Councilmember Ross Public Works: First reading of Bill 23-17, an Ordinance authorizing the final adoption of an updated Shoreline Master Program; and adopting amendments to AMC 14.50, the Shoreline Master Program. Special Committee Items: Mayor requested a motion to appoint Lisa Blanchard, Jackie Elsos, Dani Bacon, and Bobbi McCracken to the 2023 Lodging Tax Committee.
