ORDINANCES & RESOLUTIONS PASSED AT PREVIOUS MEETING
ORDINANCE NO. 1-2026 authorizing the Director of Public Service, or his
designee, to enter into a contract or contracts, after publicly advertising for bids,
for the emergency demolition of four condemned residential structures located
throughout the City of Akron; and declaring an emergency. Vote: 12-0 (Garrett
did not vote).

1 ORDINANCE authorizing the Director of Law, or her designee,
to enter into a contract or contracts without the formality of
publicly advertising for bids for the provision of professional
services necessary or attendant to the provision of legal services
to the City of Akron during the year 2026; and declaring an
emergency.
2 ORDINANCE authorizing the Mayor, or his designee, to enter
into a contract or contracts with Woolpert, Inc. without the
formality of publicly advertising for bids for the implementation
of new Cityworks processes necessary to modernize internal
business procedures; and declaring an emergency.
PLANNING & ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
3 ORDINANCE authorizing the Director of Public Service, or his

BMX Association, Inc. to extend the term of its bicycle

7 ORDINANCE authorizing the Director of Public Service, or his
designee, to enter into a contract or contracts, after publicly
advertising for bids, utilizing purchasing consortiums,
requesting and receiving Requests for Proposals (RFPs),
requesting or receiving quotes and/or self-performing work for
the purchase and application of asphaltic concrete, pavement
removal, riser rings micro-surfacing, partial depth resurfacing
and preventive maintenance for various streets in the 2026
Resurfacing Program, including alternates; approving
specifications therefor; and declaring an emergency.
8 ORDINANCE authorizing the Director of Public Service, or his
designee, to enter into an agreement or agreements without the
formality of publicly advertising for bids with LabRepCo, LLC
for the purchase of two new roll-in laboratory-grade
refrigerators; and declaring an emergency.
