REVIEW: **Ordinance 26-281 An Ordinance to Alter and Rearrange the Corporate Limits of the City of Alabaster - De-Annexing 1088 Hwy 24 Setting a public hearing for Monday, August 24, 2026 at 6:30 PM at the request of owner/applicant Justin Trader, a request to de-annex 1088 Highway 24 from the City of Alabaster. 2. REVIEW: Resolution 081026 Accepting Roads - Mayfair Subdivision Accepting the roads in the Mayfair Subdivision upon recommendation of the Planning & Zoning Board and receipt of the road maintenance bond. 3. REVIEW: Resolution 081026-A Public Works Grapple Truck Purchase Discussion of request to purchase a new grapple truck budgeted for 2027 early to save money on FY27 price increase. 4. REVIEW: Resolution 081026-B Authorizing Change Order for Alabaster Rec Center Cradle, Scoreboards, and Shot Clocks Due to new AHSA tournament facility requirements passed in April 2026, authorizing a change order for the new Alabaster Recreation Center related to the Cradle, Scoreboards, and Shot Clocks in the amount not to exceed $32,544. 5. REVIEW: Resolution 081026-C Authorizing Agreement with Krebs Engineering, Inc. Relating to Alabaster Water Authorizing a General Service Agreement (GSA) with Krebs Engineering, Inc. for washout and inspection of the Saginaw Tank, for the Alabaster Water Department in the amount not to exceed $150,000. 6. REVIEW: Resolution 081026-D Amending Resolution 052225 Agreement with ECS Southeast LLC for CMT -Rec Center and Library Project Amending agreement with ECS Southeast LLC related to construction materials testing for the new Rec Center and Library Project in the amount not to exceed $250,000. 7. REVIEW: Resolution 081026-E Authorizing ABC License for United Distributers of Alabama LLC Authorizing a 110 Wholesale Table Wine & Beer Combined ABC License for United Distributers of Alabama LLC, located at 110 Gilber Drive, Alabaster, AL 35007. 8. Executive Session Relating to Preliminary Negotiations Involving Matters of Trade or Commerce and Personnel Discussion within the City of Alabaster Alabama Code Title § 36-25A-7 (7) To discuss preliminary negotiations involving matters of trade or commerce in which the governmental body is in competition with private individuals or entities or other governmental bodies in Alabama or in other states or foreign nations or to discuss matters or information of the character defined or described August 06, 2026 Work Session City Council Agenda  in the Alabama Trade Secrets Act. Provided, however, that prior to such discussions a person involved in the recruitment or retention effort or who has personal knowledge that the discussion will involve matter or information of the character defined or described in the Alabama Trade Secrets Act advises the governmental body in writing or by oral declaration entered into the minutes that the discussions would have a detrimental effect upon the competitive position of a party to the negotiations or upon the location, retention, expansion, or upgrading of a public employee or business entity in the area served by the governmental body if disclosed outside of an executive session, or would disclose information protected by the Alabama Trade Secrets Act. (1) To discuss the general reputation and character, physical condition, professional competence, or mental health of individuals, or, subject to the limitations set out herein, to discuss the job performance of certain public employees. However, except as provided elsewhere in this section, discussions of the job performance of specific public officials or specific public employees may not be discussed in executive session if the person is an elected or appointed public official, an appointed member of a state or local board or commission, or a public employee who is one of the classification of public employees required to file a statement of economic interests with the Alabama Ethics Commission pursuant to Section 36-25-14. Except as provided elsewhere in this section, the salary, compensation, and job benefits of specific public officials or specific public employees may not be discussed in executive session.
