The primary work consists of raising the building 1’6” to create habitable space in the basement. The applicant also proposes reconfiguring the roof of a previous rear addition to create a uniform roofline. Restoration of the building’s decorative elements will also take place as part of the project . The project is deemed categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
