Applicant: Maggie Maiers. The applicant proposes to construct a one-story rear addition measuring 11’-7” x 23’ to an existing single family home. The property is zoned R-2-PD, Two-Family Residence Planned Development Combining District, which allows room additions of approximately 12’x14’. As part of this proposal, the Planning Board can amend Planned Development PD-82-2 regulations for Heritage of Alameda to allow similar additions on properties within the Planned Development district. The project is categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act.
