“Willie” Stargell Avenue - Applicant: Catellus. The Public Art Commission
will consider a public art sculpture, consisting of vertical, fin-shaped steel mesh
pieces designed in the appearance of catamaran sails, located along Webster
Street at the Alameda Landing Gateway site, approximately 500 feet north of
the intersection of Webster Street and Stargell Avenue. This project is
determined to be Categorically Exempt from the California Environmental
Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to the CEQA Guidelines Section 15303, New
Construction or Conversion of Small Structure
