City of Alameda Meeting Agenda Recreation and Park Commission Saturday, December 16, 2023 10:00 AM Tour will depart from the Alameda Recreation and Park Department, 2226 Santa Clara Avenue, Alameda, CA 94501 SPECIAL MEETING - The agenda was revised on December 14, 2023 at 5:40 p.m. to add the first park location. The Park Tour begins at 10:15 a.m. at Godfrey Park, 281 Beach Road, Alameda, 94502. SPECIAL MEETING 2023-3649 A special meeting is being called to allow the Recreation and Park Commission to attend a tour of Alameda Recreation and Park Department park sites, including Godfrey Park, Leydecker Park, Krusi Park, Lincoln Park, Littlejohn Park, Jean Sweeney Open Space Park, Whale Park, Seaplane Lagoon Promenade, and Bohol Circle Immigrant Park. The City will not be providing transportation for the public. PLEASE NOTE: The meeting is being noticed because the City’s Sunshine Ordinance requires notice whenever a majority of the Commissioners attend a meeting or function organized to discuss matters of public concern.
