SPECIAL MEETING - The agenda was revised on December 14, 2023 at 5:40 p.m. to add
the first park location. The Park Tour begins at 10:15 a.m. at Godfrey Park, 281 Beach
Road, Alameda, 94502.
SPECIAL MEETING
2023-3649 A special meeting is being called to allow the Recreation and Park
Commission to attend a tour of Alameda Recreation and Park
Department park sites, including Godfrey Park, Leydecker Park, Krusi
Park, Lincoln Park, Littlejohn Park, Jean Sweeney Open Space Park,
Whale Park, Seaplane Lagoon Promenade, and Bohol Circle
Immigrant Park. The City will not be providing transportation for the
public. PLEASE NOTE: The meeting is being noticed because the
City’s Sunshine Ordinance requires notice whenever a majority of the
Commissioners attend a meeting or function organized to discuss
matters of public concern. The Commissioners will not be taking any
action and there will not be any minutes taken.

serve the public, reaching its decisions in full view of the public. Commissions, boards,
councils and other agencies of the City of Alameda exist to conduct the citizen of

people and that City operations are open to the people’s review.
