3-A 2016-3327 PLN16-0413 - 2505 Monarch Street - Applicant: Proximo Spirits,
LLC. A public hearing to amend existing Use Permit PLN15-0459 to
allow a visitors bar/lounge and an alcoholic beverage retail store
operating between the hours of 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM Tuesday to
Sunday. The proposal requires a determination of public necessity and
convenience for a Type 21 off-sale general and Type 48 on-sale public
premises ABC licenses within an existing alcohol distillery facility. No
changes are proposed to the building which is a contributing structure to
the Naval Air Station (NAS) Alameda Historic District. The property is
located within the AP-AR (Alameda Point - Adaptive Reuse) zoning
district. This project is categorically exempt from the California
Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).

3-B 2016-3328 PLN16-0348 - 71 W Seaplane Lagoon - Administrative Use Permit -
Applicant: Maple Construction on behalf of Alameda Point Partners
LLC. A public hearing to consider a Use Permit to allow for a 6’ high
chain link fence with locked gates around the perimeter of the Alameda
Point Site A infrastructure improvements construction site, and permit
the future installation of construction and sales trailers. The Alameda
Municipal Code requires the approval of an Administrative Use Permit
for the construction of both non-residential and chain link fences. This
project is categorically exempt from State CEQA Guidelines, Section
15303(e) - Construction of accessory structures such as fencing.
