Public hearing to consider a Use Permit and Design Review application to erect a new event center of approximately 4,200 square feet at Chuck Corica Golf Complex. This use permit is also intended to allow outdoor seating at the new event center and the existing restaurant and bar. The property is located within the O, Open Space zoning district. Per Alameda Municipal Code 30-4.19, any structure or building located within golf courses in the Open Space district require a use permit and are subject to design review. This project is categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) per Section 15303 - New Construction or Conversion of Small Structure.
