Due to Governor Executive Order N-29-20, Zoning Administrator can attend the meeting via
teleconference.

subject to speaker time limits. Comments submitted prior to the meeting will be included in the
meeting record, but will not be read.

3-A 2020-8184 PLN20-0198 - Use Permit - 2300 North Loop Road - Applicant: Scott
Palmer on behalf of Kiva Confections. Public hearing to consider a
Use Permit to allow the operation of a Cannabis Industry use within an
existing building. The proposed business will be a distribution
warehouse for a cannabis product manufacturer. The business will not
be open to the public, cannabis will be stored on site while awaiting
results of testing from the California Bureau of Cannabis Control. Once
approved by the state cannabis products will then be distributed to
off-site licensed cannabis retail dispensaries. No outdoor storage or
exterior modifications to the building are proposed for this project. The
project is located within the C-M-PD (Commercial Manufacturing,
Planned Development) Zoning District.

must be filed in the Planning, Building and Transportation Department in writing stating the basis
of appeal with the appeal fee within 10 days of the date of action.
