ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW BOARD AGENDA March 15, 2022 RESULTS The Architectural Review Board will hold a regular meeting at the Council Chambers of the City of Alamo Heights, located at 6116 Broadway St, San Antonio, Texas, on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at 5:30 p.m., to consider and act upon any lawful subjects which may come before it. Per Governor’s Order GQ-36, attendees are not required to wear facial covering (mask) but they are encouraged. The City will continue to practice social distancing and seating will be limited to capacity limits. This supplemental written notice, the meeting agenda, and the agenda packet, are posted online at www.alamoheightstx.gov. INSTRUCTIONS FOR TELECONFERENCE: Members of the public may also participate via audio by dialing 1-346-248-7799 and entering access number 86801845240#. If you would like to speak on a particular item, when the item is considered, press *9 to “raise your hand”. Citizens will have three (3) minutes to share their comments. The meeting will be recorded. A. CALL MEETING TO ORDER B. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: January 18, 2022, and February 15, 2022Voted unanimously to approve both sets of meeting minutes. C. DEMOLITION REVIEW Case No. 873 F Request of Ronald Eckels of Don B. McDonald Architect, AIA, Ltd., applicant, representing Jyl and Randy Cain, owners, for the compatibility review of the proposed design located at 820 Cambridge Oval in order to construct a new single- family residence with detached garage under Demolition Review Ordinance No. 1860 (April 12, 2010). Voted unanimously to recommend approval of design as compatible. Case No. 874 F Request of Gerardo Noriega of GNA Architecture, applicant, representing Jose Gonzalez II, owner, for the significance review of the existing main structure and compatibility review of the proposed design located at 301 Encino in order to demolish 63.1% of the existing street-facing façade, demolish 64.5% of all exterior walls, and 100% of the existing roof in order to remodel and add to the existing single-family residence with attached accessory structure under Demolition Review Ordinance No. 1860 (April 12, 2010). Voted unanimously to recommend approval of design as compatible. Case No. 876 F Request of Lyndsay Thorn Architects, PPLC, applicant, representing Stacy and Jeff Foerster, owners, for the compatibility review of the proposed design located at 237 Argo in order to construct a 2-story detached garage under Demolition Review Ordinance No. 1860 (April 12, 2010). Voted unanimously to recommend approval of design as compatible. D. FINAL REVIEW  Case No. 875 F Request of Kris Feldmann of Creo Architects, applicant, representing Trebes Sasser Jr. of Ridgemont Properties, owner, for the final design review of the proposed multi-family structure’s design located at 111, 119, 131 & 135 Katherine Ct under Chapter 2 Administration for Architectural Review. Recommendation did not receive the four (4) affirmative votes as required per Section 2-48(a) of the City’s Code of Ordinances – AYES: 3 (Board Chairman John Gaines, Board Member Karl Baker, and Board Member Phil Solomon), NAYS: 1 (Board Member Adam Kiehne). Scheduled for City Council meeting of March 28, 2022. E. STAFF REPORTS Rules of procedure governing Architectural Review Board Meetings. No action taken. F.
