ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW BOARD AGENDA August 20, 2024 RESULTS Take notice that a special meeting of the Architectural Review Board of the City of Alamo Heights will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at 5:30pm in the City Council Chambers, located at 6116 Broadway St, San Antonio, Texas, 78209, to consider and act upon any lawful subjects which may come before it. This supplemental written notice, the meeting agenda, and the agenda packet, are posted online at www.alamoheightstx.gov. INSTRUCTIONS FOR TELECONFERENCE: The City will make reasonable efforts to allow members of the public to participate via audio by dialing 1-346-248-7799 and entering access number 86801845240#. If you would like to speak on a particular item, when the item is considered, press *9 to “raise your hand”. Citizens will have three (3) minutes to share their comments. The meeting will be recorded. The City cannot guarantee participation by phone due to unforeseen technical difficulties or provide prior notice if they occur; therefore, the City urges your in-person attendance if you require participation. DEMOLITION REVIEW Case No. 945F Request of Marcello Martinez of 1718 Architecture, applicant, representing Michael Smolka, owner, for the compatibility review of the proposed design located at 254 Retama Pl in order to construct a new two-story detached accessory structure under Demolition Review Ordinance No. 1860 (April 12, 2010). Recommended approval of the proposed design as compatible. To be considered at the City Council meeting of September 09, 2024 at 5:30pm. D. FINAL REVIEW Case No. 944F Request of Laurie Saunders of The Bark Park of Alamo Heights, Inc., represented by the City of Alamo Heights, for the final design review of the proposed free- standing gazebo on the properties located at 103-105 Alamo Heights Blvd, also known as the Bark Park, under Chapter 2 Administration for Architectural Review. Recommended approval as presented with condition that due consideration be given to requirements of the Federal Government in form of the American Disabilities Act and to environmental impact of selection of pathway materials in the City Manager’s discretion and judgement. To be considered at the City Council meeting of August 26, 2024 at 5:30pm. E.
