CITY OF ALBANY COMMISSION ON HUMAN RIGHTS Meeting Minutes April 20, 2021 Opening: The April 20, 2021, meeting was called to order at 6:00 PM EST, via Zoom, by Chairperson Dr. Brenda Robinson. Present: Chairperson Aaron Moore; Vice Chairperson Aaron Moore; Secretary Thomas Richards, Esq.; Commissioner Natisha Alexander; Commissioner Valerie Alexander-Moseley; Commissioner Dr. Brenda Robinson; Chief Diversity Officer Angelica Kang, Esq.; and Assistant Corporation Counsel Laura M. Gulfo, Esq. Absent: Commissioner Judith Mazza; and Commission Brenda Robinson Quorum: Yes Approval of Prior Meeting Minutes: Yes Business from the Prior Meeting: Motion approved to validate the election results of the March 16, 2021 meeting. Commissioner Moore elected as Chairperson to the Commission; Commissioner Love elected as Vice Chairperson; and Commissioner Richards elected as Secretary. New Business: Motion approved to move the scheduled date of meetings from the third Tuesday of the month to the third Thursday of the month approved by the Commission. Motion approved that the Commission shall not meet in June or July unless a special meeting of the Commission be necessary; and that the Commission meet on August 19, 2021.
