MINUTES OF CAUCUS Wednesday, April 27, 2022 The Common Council was convened at 5:30 p.m. and was called to order by Council President Ellis Members Present: Adams, Anane, Balarin, Clarke, Farrell, Frederick Flynn, Johnson, Keegan, Kimbrough, Love, Robinson, Romero, and Zamer Staff Present: Danielle Gillespie, Brett Williams, and Ethan Samuel Discussion/Questions:  Council Member Kimbrough discussed the Agenda for the May 2nd Regular Meeting  Council Member Balarin discussed about having the historic research commission reappointment people here.  Jack McEneny introduced himself and talked about the importance of his position on the HRC.  Council Member Hoey asked about a building and something else in which John McEneny responded to.  Jennifer G introduced herself and discussed about having the historic research commission position.  Council Member Hoey asked if there are any other changes the Council needs to do to strengthen the HRC, in which Jennifer G responded to.  Lee Pinkney introduced himself and discussed about having the historic research commission position.  Council Member Hoey asked about how to preserve different types of architecture that we maintain throughout the years, in which Lee Pinkney responded to.  Council Member Johnson asked how some buildings become considered historic and if a housing authority building is considered historic, in which Lee Pinkney responded to.  Council Member Farrell thanked the three people on the HRC for coming to tonight’s meeting.  President Pro Tem adjourned the meeting at 7:00pm Link to meeting recording: https://www.facebook.com/albany.commoncouncil/videos/3129043210672805 Respectfully Submitted, Ethan Samuel Legislative Aide
