MINUTES OF CAUCUS
Wednesday, April 27, 2022
The Common Council was convened at 5:30 p.m. and was called to order by Council President
Ellis
Members Present: Adams, Anane, Balarin, Clarke, Farrell, Frederick Flynn, Johnson, Keegan,
Kimbrough, Love, Robinson, Romero, and Zamer
Staff Present: Danielle Gillespie, Brett Williams, and Ethan Samuel
Discussion/Questions:
Council Member Kimbrough discussed the Agenda for the May 2nd Regular Meeting
Council Member Balarin discussed about having the historic research commission
reappointment people here.
Jack McEneny introduced himself and talked about the importance of his position on the
HRC.
Council Member Hoey asked about a building and something else in which John
McEneny responded to.
Jennifer G introduced herself and discussed about having the historic research
commission position.
Council Member Hoey asked if there are any other changes the Council needs to do to
strengthen the HRC, in which Jennifer G responded to.
Lee Pinkney introduced himself and discussed about having the historic research
commission position.
Council Member Hoey asked about how to preserve different types of architecture that
we maintain throughout the years, in which Lee Pinkney responded to.
Council Member Johnson asked how some buildings become considered historic and if a
housing authority building is considered historic, in which Lee Pinkney responded to.
Council Member Farrell thanked the three people on the HRC for coming to tonight’s
meeting.
President Pro Tem adjourned the meeting at 7:00pm
