AGENDA WORK SESSION February 13, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. I. Welcome + Level Setting (10 min): a. Why you’re here, b. What you’ll cover, c. What attendees can expect, etc. II. About the Case (15 - 20 min): a. Recap of what happened (the incident) b. An overview of the outcomes of the investigation III. What happens next (30 - 45 min): a. Investigator’s Case Review and Presentation b. What can board members anticipate from the public meeting, c. Float the idea of a subset of board members meeting with named/impacted community members d. What the board can do (policy recommendation, anything else) e. What the board cannot do (anything the board should be aware of - especially given the ongoing subpoena case, etc.) IV. What to do/what to expect (actions the Board will be taking and key messaging) (15 - 30 min): a. Press release b. Who do we collaborate with to amplify this case, mitigate and/or channel public upset c. Who speaks for the Board on this, what is the party line, and what cannot/should not be discussed V. Lessons learned about the process (the investigation, the report draft, review, and feedback process) (30 - 45 min): a. Debrief on how this process went, what can be improved on, what to avoid for next time
