COMMON COUNCIL COMMITTEE MEETING FINANCE, TAXATION AND ASSESSMENT COMMITTEE Sonia Frederick, Chair Meeting called by: Sonia Frederick, Chair Date: 4/4/22 Time: 5:30PM Invitees/Speakers Committee Members Frederick, Chair ☒ Balarin ☒ Farrell ☒ Adams ☐ Keegan ☒ Present: Council Members Present: City Personnel Present: Danielle Gillespie, Ethan Samuel Minutes Agenda Item (s):  This meeting is to interview candidates that have applied to fill a vacancy on the Board of Assessment and Review Questions and Discussion:  Chair Frederick called the meeting to order.  Judy Doesschate discussed why she would be a good choice for the Board of Assessment and Review.  Council Member Farrell asked how Judy Doesschate would work her strengths into being on the Board of Assessment and Review, in which Judy Doesschate responded to.  Council Member Balarin thanked Judy Doesschate for all the hard work she has done and that she wants to come back and continue helping the City of Albany.  Council Member Keegan thanked Judy Doesschate as well.  Judy Doesschate discussed further why she applied to this position.  Council Member Farrell made a motion to move into executive session for personal matters.  Council Member Frederick told Judy Doesschate that she has been chosen for the Board of Assessment and Review. Public Comment: There was no public comment. Adjourn: The Chair asked for a motion to adjourn, which was duly made, seconded, and unanimously passed. The meeting adjourned at 5:55 PM.
