After discussing the proposal to install an internally illuminated channel letter sign to be located above the existing
storefront, the Commission voted to approve the proposal with the condition that the overall height of the sign be
reduced from 23" to 20" inches, measuring from the top of the 'T’ in ‘Metro’ and bottom of the ‘Y’ in ‘by'. The
Commission made the following recommendations-
The proposed sign should be centered within the sign band so that the ‘T’ in ‘Metro’ does not extend into the
cornice trim of the roof assembly and the ‘Y’ in ‘by’ does not overlap on the storefront window trim.
