After discussing the concept proposal to construct a new four-story residential building on a vacant corner lot, the
Commission made the following recommendations and comments-
• Raise the height of the lap siding on the corner bays and add a water table;
• Increase the height of the proposed 2-over-1 windows by 2" by droppoing the sills;
• Increase the lintel proportions on the second and third floor center windows;
• Increase the depth of the top landing of the proposed entry stoop;
• Increase the canopy to provide more protection from the weather and include lighting at the canopy;
• Use a brick base or brick end piers at the west property line fence; and
• Consider recessing the center bays an additional 1'.
