Call to order Commissioner McNaughton called the meeting to order at 4:37 p.m. II. Approval of minutes The Commission voted unanimously to accept the minutes of the May 1, 2019 meeting as written. III. Executive Session The Commission voted to go into executive session to discuss a candidate appeal of disqualification at 4:38 p.m., inviting Peachie Jones, Sandra Coleman, Ann Giard- Chase and Kathleen Hendrick to stay. The Commission voted to come out of executive session at 4:40 p.m. The Commission voted unanimously to disqualify Aliyanah McIntosh from the current round of processing due to a late arrival to the agility exam. IV. Amendment of Job Specifications – The Commission voted unanimously to amend job descriptions for the titles listed below. • Chief Accountant XI. Job Classification – The Commission approved the classification of the positions listed below for the corresponding agencies. • Reclassification – Recreation Assistant to Laborer II – Department of Recreation • General Counsel (Albany Parking Authority) – Competitive (Pending Exempt) Class – Albany Parking Authority • Marketing & Stakeholder Coordinator – Competitive Class – Albany Parking Authority XII. New Business • Firefighter CPAT – All candidates being processed for this current round of canvassing will participate in the CPAT since the 18 months will expire during processing. • Public Hearing – Civil Service Rule Amendments – The Commission will hold a public hearing at their August 28th meeting.
