Alternate Test Date Exception – NYS Police Candidates The Commission unanimously voted to go into executive session to discuss exam administration issues. The Commission unanimously voted to amend the alternated test date policy to allow candidates who signed up for the City of Albany Police Exam and are scheduled to process for the New York State Police on the date of the exam to be approved for an alternate test date on the following Monday after the exam. The Commission asked to have a letter drafted to the New York State Police to take into consideration the Local Civil Service Test Date Schedule when planning future processing dates. VI. Other discussion – A draft of the Civil Service Rules with proposed changes will be sent to the Commission for discussion at the next meeting. VII.
