MINUTES SPECIAL MEETING OF THE MUNICIPAL CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ALBANY HELD OCTOBER 23, 2019, IN THE MAYOR’S CONFERENCE ROOM, CITY HALL, ALBANY, NY 12207 ATTENDEES: Thomas McNaughton, Commissioner, Chair Linda Jackson-Chalmers, Commissioner Michael Cassidy, Commissioner Peachie Jones, Law Department Sandra Coleman, Principal Civil Service Administrator Celia Gonzalez, Director of Human Resources (City of Albany) I. Call to order Chairman McNaughton called the meeting to order at 4:38 p.m. II. Approval of minutes The Commission voted unanimously to accept the minutes from the September 30, 2019 meeting as written. III. Discussion of proposed Civil Service Rules Changes Chairman McNaughton made a motion to move the proposed changes to the text of the Local Civil Service Rules to a public hearing to be held on November 20, 2019. Seconded by Commissioner Cassidy. Carried. IV.
