MINUTES MEETING OF THE MUNICIPAL CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ALBANY HELD JUNE 24, 2020, VIA VIDEO CONFERENCE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE HEALTH AND SAFETY GUIDELINES ISSUED BY NYS DUE TO COVID-19. Amendment of Job Specifications – The Commission voted unanimously to amend the job specifications listed below.  Equipment Operator III  Human Resources Generalist III VI. Old Business  Resolution 20-01- to postpone Civil Service examinations in the City of Albany Municipal Government – The Commission voted unanimously to approve the resolution with the following comments to be noted.  i. Comments: 1. The application period for all exams that were previously posted but postponed due to COVID-19 cannot be reopened to allow additional applicants. 2. All provisional appointments for City departments (agency covered under the resolution) will be approved by the Commission prior to appointment. VII. New Business  Appeal process for non-selection/disqualification – TABLED to next meeting VIII.
