AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 375 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF ALBANY (UNIFIED
SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT ORDINANCE) CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF
1057 WASHINGTON AVENUE AND 1061 WASHINGTON AVENUE FROM “MIXED-USE
NEIGHBORHOOD CENTER” (MU- NC) TO RESIDENTIAL “TWO-FAMILY” (R-2) AND AMENDING
THE ZONING MAP ACCORDINGLY

• Brad Glass explained Planning Board recommendation
• Council members Doesschate, Igoe, Anane, Fahey, Balarin and Hoey spoke on the legislation
• Council members Doesschate, Balarin, Hoey, Igoe and O’Brien asked questions in which Brad Glass, Council
member O’Brien and Amy Lavine answered
• Brad Glass and Amy Lavine spoke on the legislation
• Council member Fahey made a motion to move Ordinance 20.92.20 out of committee with a positive
recommendation, which was seconded by Council Member Hoey. 4 Aye – 1 (Love) Nay, the motion passed.
