STREET AND UTILITY COMMITTEE October 1, 2025 The regular meeting of the Street and Utility Committee was called to order at 6:30 p.m. in the Albany Village Hall by Chairperson Fred Johnson. Members present were: Johnson, Bert Hefty, Kim Blumer and Jim Mauerman. Absent: Brooke Helley. Also present: Lonnie Gill, Ex-Officio, and Andrew Skog of Mead & Hunt. Proof of posting was verified. MINUTES: Motion by Mauerman, seconded by Hefty, to approve the previous minutes as printed. All ayes. Motion carried. SEWER LINE / MANHOLE SLIPLINE: The plans for sewer line / manhole slipline were delivered to DNR by Mead and Hunt on September 30, 2025. WDNR CLEANWATER FUND PROGRAM: The application was submitted to the DNR on September 30, 2025. Motion by Blumer, seconded by Hefty, to spend up to $300 on soil testing as needed. All ayes. Motion carried. GENERAC GENERATOR EXTENDED WARRANTY: After much discussion, it was decided not to purchase the extended warranty for the generator. DAM GATE REPAIR UPDATE: Two high-capacity pumps were rented, and the dam gate repair was completed by public works. WATER QUALITY TRADING PLAN REVISION: The Water Quality Trading Plan Revision needs to be updated by January 31, 2026; Mead and Hunt will email the bid to Gill and Brewer. 2026 BUDGET: Motion by Blumer, seconded by Hefty, to send the proposed budget to the Finance Committee. All ayes. Motion carried. A copy of the proposed budget was given to Brewer.
