ALGONAC PLANNING COMMISSION Council Chambers, 805 St. Clair River Drive Algonac, MI 48001 April 23rd, 2018 7:00p.m. Minutes Call to Order The meeting was called to order by Chair Rocky Gillis at 7:00 p.m. Roll Call Present: Anthony, Carter, Falke, Gillis, Kish, Koch, Ragsdale, Reuter, Tideswell Absent: None Other: Denice Gerstenberg, Joshua Stewart, Terry Stoneburner Pledge of Allegiance Chairman Gillis led the Pledge of Allegiance Presentations City Manager Denice Gerstenberg presented a recap of the Community Vision Survey results. There were (233) responses to the Community Visioning Survey providing input on the greatest assets in Algonac, key themes for the city’s future and an input summary on the community blight program. Communications and Notices PCO#4.1.18 Communications and Notices Motion by Koch; supported by Falke to receive and file the communications and notices as presented. Citizens To Be Heard None Public Notice None Approval of Minutes PCO#4.2.18 Approval of Minutes Motion by Falke, supported by Carter to approve the minutes from the January 22, 2018 meeting as presented. Motion Carried. 4.23.18_PC Meeting Minutes 1 New Business PCO#4.3.18 Capital Improvement Plan Motion by Falke; supported by Reuter to recommend to city council approval of the Capital Improvement Plan as presented for FY 2018-2019 and future years thru 2023. PCO#4.4.18 Set Public Hearing Motion by Anthony; supported by Koch to set June 4, 2018 at 7 p.m. as the public hearing date for the Central Business District Ordinance.
