Shrontz is proposing to build a condominium project on the Patsey Marley Hill property and apply a conservation easement on the upper 20-acres of the 26-acre parcel. The project would be an alternative to a 10-lot residential subdivision which was permitted as part of a 2014 Settlement Agreement. The Estate has presented the proposal in several recent work sessions of the Alta Planning Commission, and the Commission asked the Estate to show the concept at an open-house style meeting. The Town would like to gather community input regarding the Estate’s proposal. Please join the Town of Alta, members of the Alta Planning Commission, and representatives of the Shrontz Estate for an in-person open house at Our Lady of the Snows from 4:30 to 6:30 PM on Tuesday, March 25th, 2025. This is not a meeting of the Planning Commission or Town Council. No decisions will be made, but there may be a quorum of either body present due to the level of interest in this topic.
