1. Public Comments Citizens who desire to address the Condemnation Appeals Commission with
regard to matters on the agenda or having to do with the City’s policies, programs, or services will
be received at this time. Each speaker will be limited to three minutes. The Board may not discuss
items not on this agenda, but may respond with factual, established policy information, or refer to
staff. The Board may choose to place the item on a future agenda. (Texas Attorney General
Opinion JC-0169)
2. Approval of Minutes This item is for the Commission to discuss and consider approval of the
Condemnation Appeals Commission minutes of the regular meeting held on June 4, 2026.
3. Resolution – Calling a Public Hearing to determine whether certain conditions described
herein constitute a Public Nuisance at the locations stated: This resolution sets the date and
time for a public hearing on September 3, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. to determine whether certain
conditions of the properties located at 1013 SW 10th Avenue, 3600 NE 13th Avenue, 4113 SE 27th
Avenue, 802 Channing Street, 512 N Fillmore Street, 102 N Jefferson Street, 1101 S Lincoln
Street, 4043 Neuches Street, 1009 N Roosevelt Street, 1030 Stuart Street, and 1206 N Taylor Street
constitute dangerous structures and/or a public nuisance, and whether to order the removal of such.
A copy of this resolution will be mailed to all interested parties providing ten (10) days’ notice of
public hearing.
4. Resolution – Public Hearing This resolution conducts a public hearing on and considers ordering
the removal of substandard structures and solid waste accumulation located at 2405 NW 2nd
Avenue.
5. Resolution – Public Hearing This resolution conducts a public hearing on and considers ordering
the removal of a substandard structure and solid waste accumulation located at 2612 NW 14th.
6. Resolution – Public Hearing This resolution conducts a public hearing on and considers ordering
the removal of a substandard structure located at 310 S Aldredge Street.
7. Resolution – Public Hearing This resolution conducts a public hearing on and considers ordering
the removal of substandard structures located at 1301 N Harisson Street.
8. Resolution – Public Hearing This resolution conducts a public hearing on and considers ordering
the removal of a substandard structure located at 605 N Jefferson Street.
9. Resolution – Public Hearing This resolution conducts a public hearing on and considers ordering
the removal of substandard structures located at 306 Parker Street.
10. Resolution – Public Hearing This resolution conducts a public hearing on and considers ordering
the removal of substandard structures located at 4852 River Road.
11. Resolution – Public Hearing This resolution conducts a public hearing on and considers ordering
the removal of substandard structures and solid waste accumulation located at 917 Skyline Drive.
Please note: The Condemnation Appeals Commission may take up items out of the order shown on any Agenda. The
Condemnation Appeals Commission reserves the right to discuss all or part of any item in an executive session at any time
during a meeting or work session, as necessary and allowed by state law. Votes or final decisions are made only in open
Regular or Special meetings, not in either a work session or executive session.
Amarillo City Hall is accessible to individuals with disabilities through its main entry on the west side (623 South Johnson
Street) of the building at the main entrance. Access ramps leading to the main entry are located to the north and south of the
main entry. Parking spaces for individuals with disabilities are available in the west parking lot. City Hall is equipped with
restroom facilities, communications equipment, and elevators that are accessible. Individuals with disabilities who require
special accommodations, or a sign language interpreter must contact the City Secretary’s Office 48 hours prior to meeting
time by telephoning 378-3013 or the City TDD number at 378-4229.
