Approve the April 27, 2016 minutes Dale moved to approve the April 27, 2016 meeting minutes. Laurel seconded the motion and the motion passed unanimously. City Council PARC Funding Memo Review/Discussion The Fox Hollow Simulator will be fully funded for $20,995, provided the estimated tax revenue is $825,861. If there is a deficiency in revenue each project funding will be reduced by an equal percentage. If there is a surplus in funds they will go to the Miller Park Restroom project. There 1.5% Administrative Fee can be used at the committee’s discretion and should be separate from the total available tax revenue received. Audra stated that Alpine Community Theatre was concerned as they haven’t been notified if they had received funds. They were ready to do a presentation for the committee but were never notified to present and explain their program. The committee agreed we needed to tell participants as soon as possible if they needed to give a formal presentation. Also an official, early notification should be sent to all participants. Notification/Declination Letter Staci is working on the funding notification and decline letters. Signed Agreement Preparation The Agreements are online and have be approved by legal. Memo to Mayor and Council Members Dale’s memo to the Mayor and City Council Members explained the process of how the PARC Committee made their decision on recommending funding for the various applications. At this time the committee decided to hold the memo. Signage Signs, plaques, banners, labels, signs under construction costs are part of the agreement are to be provided by the award recipients. Everyone was encourages to attend the City Council Work Session on June 9th at 3:30 pm, where both Parks and Recreation and Timpanogos Arts Foundation will be doing presentations. Also invited to attend the City Council meeting on June 14th at 7:30 pm, where our recommendations will be discussed and approved. Other Business The next meeting is July 6, 2016, at 5:30 pm, American Fork City Administration Building Conference Room. Laurel moved to adjourn the meeting at 6:40 pm, Dale seconded. *Note: City Council Meeting was June 28, 2016, where our recommendations were discussed and approved
