Board of Assessors

By City Clerk at 10:30 am, Mar 23, 2023 Board of Assessors Meeting Minutes March 9, 2023, 5:00pm Amesbury City Hall Call to Order: The scheduled meeting of the Board of Assessors was held on March 9, 2023, at 5:00pm at the city hall auditorium. Those in attendance were Board member, Lisa Craig, Board member, Emily Behn, and Board member, Diana Caswell. Ms. Behn offered to open the meeting at 5:00pm, Ms. Craig seconded the motion, the motion passed unanimously. Approval of Minutes: The meeting minutes from February 16, 2023, were reviewed by the Board. Motion by Ms. Craig to accept the minutes as written. Mrs. Caswell seconded the motion, passed unanimously. Public Comment No members of the public were in attendance. Executive Session to discuss non-public records Motion was made by Ms. Behn to enter Executive Session under Massachusetts general Law Chapter 30A, Section 2(f) to review Executive Minutes and under Massachusetts General Law Chapter 30a, Section 21(a), Purpose 7 to discuss non-public records. The board will adjourn from Executive Session and reconvene into Open Session. The motion was seconded by Ms. Craig and passed unanimously. Ms. Craig announced that the Board was in Executive Session at 5:12pm. Ms. Behn offered to reopen the open meeting at 5:38pm, Ms. Craig seconded the motion, the motion passed unanimously. Motor Vehicle Abatement Reports for February 1-28, 2023 and March 1-6, 2023 were presented to the Board. After review, motion by Ms. Behn to accept Motor Vehicle Abatement Reports as presented, Ms. Craig seconded the motion, the motion passed unanimously. Public Comment No members of the public were in attendance. Adjourn: Having no other business to come before he Board, motion by Ms. Behn, Ms. Craig seconded the motion, the motion passed unanimously, adjourn executive session at 5:42pm. Executive Session to discuss non-public records Motion was made by Ms. Behn to enter Executive Session under Massachusetts general Law Chapter 30A, Section 2(f) to review Executive Minutes and under Massachusetts General Law Chapter 30a, Section 21(a), Purpose 7 to discuss non-public records.
