Call to Order/Roll Call Matt Sherrill called the meeting to order at 5:56 pm. 2. Minutes 3. Public Comments 4. Communications 5. Continued Applications 6. New Applications Sign - 87 Main St. Mike Leary from Sundance Sign Company was present to speak to the sign application for 87 Main St. Matt Sherrill noted that the sign had already changed and questioned why that was. Mike Leary responded that it was because of the real estate acquisition. They needed to put in a temporary sign. There was a slight delay with the application because there was a change in branding. Rachel Harris questioned if it was the same dimensions as the previous sign. Mike Leary responded that he did not have the dimensions of the previous sign, but it is not bigger than the previous one. There is no way to make it bigger on the existing bracket. Rachel Harris questioned why there was more maroon on the bottom than the top. Mike Leary responded that it had to be that way for the font to fit. It is a standard sign figured to ac- commodate two names. This one just has one name. Rachel Harris commented that the Planning Board would want to see if the square footage for the new sign is the same or smaller than the previous one.  Matt Sherrill questioned if there would be anything on the glass. Mike Leary responded that there should only be something on the entry door. Matt Smoved to pass on to planning board with positive approval. Motion by Matt Sherrill to make a positive recommendation for the application. Second by Rachel Harris. Approved. Sign - 68 Haverhill Rd. Matt – leaving 68 there. Merin – no. Matt Sherrill requested clarification on the three signs noted in the application. Michelle Ault responded that the third sign would be an additional parking sign directing people to the parking lot in the back. There will also be a sign on the building and a sign at the street. The “68” sign will be removed. Matt Sherrill questioned how they would mount the sign over the door. Michelle Ault re- sponded that it would be mounted with brackets. The surface is plywood with roofing material and the brackets would mount to that. The light on the top will illuminate the sign. Rachel Harris questioned if the street sign would be illuminated. Michelle Ault responded that there was a light box there, so they could illuminate it. Matt Sherrill commented that it may not be allowed. Rachel Harris noted that if they were going to illuminate it, then those details should be updated prior to the Planning Board. Matt Sherrill questioned where the additional parking sign was going to go. Michelle Ault responded that it would go to the far right where the “68” is. They could mount it to the building or put it on a post. Matt Sherrill commented that those details should be formal- ized before the Planning Board if they are considering it. Motion by Matt Sherrill to make a positive recommendation for the application. Second by Rachel Harris. Approved. 7. Other Business 8. Adjourn The Meeting adjourned at 6:16 pm.
