Meeting called to order at 6:01 p.m. by Anne. 2. Old Business a. Trustee job description and elevator pitch – Job description is in the onboarding packet for new Trustees. Trustees will work on elevator pitch at the retreat so each Trustee can craft their own personal version with shared themes 3. Other – Discussed a few things to consider: a. Library tours for city council and new Trustees, state reps, historic commission, charitable trust committee, and chamber of commerce now that the Friends organization is a member b. Potential communications ideas and inspiration from the Boston Public Library Fund c. Public forum for the Facilities Master Plan coming up on June 18, and it will be a good opportunity to understand the community’s perspectives d. Work on using Trustee email more for communications e. Could assign each Trustee stakeholders in town to keep updated about what’s going on with the Library. Monthly or quarterly message that everyone would communicate to their assigned people/groups f. Could submit articles to the Council on Aging newsletter and Chamber of Commerce newsletter (using existing communications to reach different audiences) 4. Adjourn at 7:05 p.m. Motion by Anne.
