Come share your views about the transportation planning process
in the Merrimack Valley region!
Every four years, the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and Federal Transit Administration
(FTA) are required to review the metropolitan transportation planning process conducted by the
Merrimack Valley Metropolitan Planning Organization, Massachusetts Department of Transportation,
Merrimack Valley Regional Transit Authority, and its local municipal partners in order to certify that
they are carrying out the process in accordance with all applicable Federal requirements.
As part of this review, the Federal agencies would like to hear from members of the public on their
views of how the metropolitan transportation planning process is conducted in the region.
Please attend the virtual public meeting conducted by FHWA and FTA, to be held during the regularly
scheduled Merrimack Valley MPO meeting. If you are unable to attend, you may also submit your
comments or observations in writing by June 4, 2021 to:
