Public Notice: Merrimack Valley Metropolitan Planning Organization Proposed Action, Public Hearings, and Comment Period The Merrimack Valley Planning Organization (MVMPO) hereby gives notice of the availability of the following proposed action(s) for public review and comment: FFY2024-2028 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Amendment #7 The above referenced action(s) are available for review on the Merrimack Valley Planning Commission (MVPC) website (www.mvpc.org/mvmpo) and are described below. The Merrimack Valley Metropolitan Planning Organization (MVMPO) invites the public to discuss the proposed action(s) and provide comments. • Location: Merrimack Valley Planning Commission, 160 Main Street, Haverhill, MA 01830 • Date: Thursday, August 8, 2024 • Time: 4:00pm • Format: Office Hours: staff will be available to discuss the amendment • Alternative ways to Participate: Provide written comments or setup a time to discuss by phone or virtual chat by contacting transportation@mvpc.org Proposed Action(s): This action proposes several TIP modifications for Merrimack Valley Transit, including the reallocation of state funding to fulfill the 20 percent match requirement for the transfer of federal highway funds to federal transit funds and book-keeping actions for several projects.
