Roll call was taken and present were Councilor Hogg, Councilor Wheeler, and Chairman Mandeville. Topics for discussion: Motion to reconsider a new date for the subcommittee to discuss and provide recommendation on: 2023-005 An Ordinance to amend the Amesbury Zoning Ordinance and the Amesbury Overlay Zoning Map in order to establish a new Smart Growth Overlay District pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 40R and 760 CMR 59.00 that shall be known as the East End Smart Growth Overlay District. -Mayor Sponsor • Councilor Mandeville stated that he called this meeting to order to discuss the subcommittee’s previous motion to continue 2023-005 to a future date and reconsidering that to a new date for them to discuss and provide a recommendation on. • The subcommittee discussed their personal availability and possible meeting dates. They decided on July 31st. Councilor Hogg made a motion to reconsider 2023-005 and to reschedule discussion for Monday July 31st. He was seconded by Councilor Wheeler. A roll call vote was taken, and the motion passed (3-0). Councilor Hogg moved to close the meeting at 7:28 PM. and was seconded by Councilor Wheeler.
