By City Clerk at 9:49 am, Dec 16, 2022 ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS MEETING MINUTES THURSDAY - September 22, 2022 (Posted in accordance with the provisions of MGL Ch. 39, Sec. 23A, as amended) City Hall – 8:00 p.m. 62 Friend St. Amesbury, MA 01913 Attendance: Sharon McDermot (Chair), Donna Collins, David Haraske, and Michael McCarthy Also in attendance: Vinny Tirone, Dir. of Inspectional Services _______________________________________________________ AGENDA 1. MEETING MINUTES APPROVAL: July 21, 2022 2. Special Permit – Cortez – 3 Erin Rd. – create in-law apartment. 3. Special Permit – Sanborn – 20 Glenwood St. – extend deck and build a 3-season porch on a pre-existing, non- conforming lot. Chair McDermot called the meeting to order at 8:00 pm and read the agenda items and asked if there were any changes to the meeting minutes. No changes. Chair McDermot motioned to approve the meeting minutes from July 21, 2022, seconded by Donna Collins. All in favor. PUBLIC HEARINGS: Ardis Cortez – 3 Erin Rd. – in-law apartment After review of the information submitted, the Board is requesting supporting documentation to show that Erin Rd. is zoned as rural cluster as opposed to R40. Mr. Cortez agreed to a continuation hearing to provide proof that the property sits in an RC (Residential Cluster) zoning district. Jenn Sanborn – 20 Glenwood St. – expand deck / create 3-season room Sharon McDermott and David Haraske make a motion to discuss. Chair McDermot read the Summary of Findings. There is no detriment to the area should the Variance be granted. Donna Collins motioned to approve a Variance. Sharon McDermott seconded that motion. The Board unanimously voted to grant the approve the Special Permit. Motion to adjourn the meeting at 9:00pm. Motion passed unanimously. NEXT MEETING – December 15, 2022. 12/15/22: Motion made to approve by Donna Collins. Seconded by David Haraske. All in favor to approve the meeting minutes at the ZBA meeting held on 12/15/22
