Approval of Minutes Wednesday, September 28th, 2022 Motion is made by Randy Johnson to approve the minutes from September 28th, 2022; seconded by Laura Mancevich. Motion passes 4-0. Manager’s Report Anaconda-Deer Lodge County • Bowman Field • 1022 MT Hwy 48 • Anaconda, MT 59711 1|Page  Anaconda-Deer Lodge County Airport – Bowman Field Monte Belgarde, Airport Manager, reported that at this time, all traffic is down as is the flight school traffic, albeit this is common for this time of year and no surprise. He did state that the crew from the ADLC Road Department came down and worked on the winter equipment and everything is in good working order going into the winter Mr. Belgarde did do some research around the area about hangar lease rate. Butte Deer Lodge Philipsburg 11 cents per square foot, 4.85 cents Airport hangar with power including 10-foot perimeter per square foot $200.00 around Airport hangar without power $150.00 At this point in the meeting, it was determined that the current price that the hangar owners are paying at 10 cents per sq. ft. is what they will stay with and as per the lease agreement will investigate this charge prior to next August 2023. Carlye Hansen, Planning Department Secretary will get these invoices out this coming week. Motion was made by Eric Cortright to approve the cost of 10 cents per sq. foot for hangar leases for the year 2022-2023 and will revisit this again in July of 2023; seconded Randy Johnson. Motion carried 4-0. Consultant Report Mr. Greil phoned into today to review the Consultant Report that he put together. He has received the outline of the budget that has been ran for all airports according to Montana Law. This can be found in the Montana Code Annotated, Title 67, Chapter 10. The CIP has been turned into the FAA and Montana Aeronautics. He did have to make a small adjustment. Next year the FAA will do an ALP update. At this time there will be match money for the fuel farm, the AWOS system, and the purchase of the Shellabarger property. Mr. Greil explained the FAA wants to assure projects are being done along with revenue generation projects. On November 15th, 2022, the loan grant is due, and the decision will need to be made regarding who signs what on our end. The FAA grants will be due in March and Bill Everett, CEO, will need to sign these. Eric Hoiland, ADLC Treasurer, will need to have a decision shortly regarding the CIP money. Mr. Greil feels that they should go over these things with Mr. Everett so that everything is vetted properly. New Business None Miscellaneous/Public Comment Doug Chapman, Belgrade Mr. Chapman owns property in ADLC and is here as an interested party this morning. He has questions about the possible Fuel Farm in Anaconda. The Fuel Farm and what the current situation is in relation to this becoming a reality, as well as review of past conversations were discussed amongst the Board and with Mr. Chapman. Next Meeting Wednesday, November 30th, 2022 At this meeting, it was asked that we please put on the agenda the budget and income flow for the airport.
