AGENDA ANACONDA-DEER LODGE COUNTY COMMISSION MEETING 6:00 PM TUESDAY, AUGUST 4, 2026 COURTHOUSE - COURTROOM RULES OF THE COMMISSION Everyone is respectfully asked to follow these few Commission Rules of Procedure:  Please turn off or silence all cell phones and electronic devices.  To address the Commission, please approach the podium and state your name & address for the record.  Please speak loud enough for the entire room to hear your comments.  Please address all comments to the Commission as you are not in a debate with other presenters or members of the audience.  Please be respectful to other speakers, presenters, and members of the audience.  If you wish to address any individual Commissioner, Public Official, or presenter you must request authorization from the Chair.  Please try to limit your comments to three minutes or less.  No sidebar conversations will be allowed. Private conversations and whispering in the audience during the meeting are very disruptive so please step out of the room for any such conversations. I. Pledge of Allegiance II. Request to Set Public Hearing Date for Fiscal Year 2026-2027 Annual Budget (Proposed Date of August 25, 2026) At this time, the Commission could take action to approve the Request to Set Public Hearing Date for Fiscal Year 2026-2027 Annual Budget, Proposed Date of August 25, 2026. B. FY2027 Extension Services Agreement Between Montana State University and Anaconda-Deer Lodge County At this time, the Commission could take action to approve the FY2027 Extension Services Agreement Between Montana State University and Anaconda-Deer Lodge County. C. Review of Audio/Video System Quotes for Commission Meetings, and Consider Approval of the Quote from Montana Pro Audio At this time, the Commission could take action to approve one of the Quotes for the Audio/Video System for Commission Meetings. D. Donation to the Anaconda Weekly Review for $3,500.00. At this time, the Commission could take action to approve the Donation to the Anaconda Weekly Review for $3,500.00. E. Request for Appointment to the Board of Health by Sarah Rice (2 Vacancies) At this time, the Commission could take action to approve the Request for Appointment to the Board of Health by Sarah Rice. F. Special Event, Deadringer Horseshoe Tournament, August 29, 2026, Washoe Park Horseshoe Pits (Pending Certificate of Insurance) At this time, the Commission could take action to approve the Special Event, Deadringer Horseshoe Tournament, August 29, 2026, Washoe Park Horseshoe Pits, Pending Certificate of Insurance. VI. New Business A. Donation Request from Deer Lodge County 4-H Leaders’ Counsil for $4,000.00 for 2026-2027 At this time, the Commission could take action to approve the Donation Request from Deer Lodge County 4-H Leaders’ Counsil for $4,000.00 for 2026-2027. B. Change Order #2, 2026 Street Improvements Project, Stumptown Road – Sara Cline, Trihydro At this time, the Commission could take action to approve Change Order #2, 2026 Street Improvements Project, Stumptown Road. C. Resolution No. 26-18, A Resolution of Anaconda-Deer Lodge County (ADLC), Montana, Approving the Application of Cathryn Stillman, CEO of ICW Montana, for a Tax Exemption and Tax Rate Reduction for the Remodeling, Reconstruction, or Expansion of the Existing Building or Structure Located at 611 Walnut Street, Anaconda, Montana, Pursuant to Section 15-24-1501, MCA At this time, the Commission could take action to approve Resolution No. 26-18, A Resolution of Anaconda- Deer Lodge County (ADLC), Montana, Approving the Application of Cathryn Stillman, CEO of ICW Montana, for a Tax Exemption and Tax Rate Reduction for the Remodeling, Reconstruction, or Expansion of the Existing Building or Structure Located at 611 Walnut Street, Anaconda, Montana, Pursuant to Section 15- 24-1501, MCA. D. Request for Resignation from the Tree Board by Carol Chappell (Letter Attached) At this time, the Commission could take action to approve the Request for Resignation from the Tree Board by Carol Chappell. VII.
