Greenway Service District – December 8, 2016 - Anaconda I. Call to Order II. Board members: Kay Eccleston, JP Gallagher, Milo Manning, Lou Parrett, Ed Simonich Staff/Consultants: Collette LeMieux, Pat Reardon, Dori Skrukrud Guest: R. Ed Banderob, Butte Historical Society, Heritage Project Chairman III. Approval of Minutes with Correction (date/location)– JS/PS IV. Presentation – R. Ed Banderob, representing the Butte Historical Society and Chair of their Heritage project. Mr. Banderob discussed the National Heritage Area and National Historic Park designations that the Butte Historic Society is pursuing for the attractions and sites within the Butte and Anaconda National Landmark District. These designations could provide access to technical assistance and financial support from the National Park Service. The Butte Historical Society is organizing a conference to V. Items Not Addressed on the Agenda – No items discussed. VI. Silver Bow Station Trailhead Construction a. The final walk through was conducted at Silver Bow Station on 12-1-16. b. Collette reported that the delay in work has created additional, unanticipated oversight time for Pioneer – she is preparing a summary for consideration as an amendment to the Oversight Task Order. c. The Board discussed the additional expenses related to the additional time taken to complete the project. Dori, Joel and Collette will meet with Dale Malyevac and Chance Ellis to discuss the final outcome of these requests. VII. Design/Engineering Update a. Reach G RR Underpass – Tunnel Alternative Evaluation work continues. b. Reach S Trail and Highway 1 Underpass Project – MDT will be contacted to clarify their traffic control estimate and a meeting should be scheduled to discuss this project with MDT and Anaconda officials. c. Durant Canyon Update – Access Strategy – Dori has been proceed with discussions with the Peterson’s about the Durant Canyon ramp access. d. Restoration Plan Design Update- Dori reported that Pioneer is completing a pilot project to be completed early in 2017 on DEQ-owned lands in Reach R. VIII.
