Anaconda Deer Lodge County Urban Renewal Agency Minutes Anaconda Urban Renewal Agency Meeting Wednesday, August 10th, 2016 – 12:00 p.m. Community Service Center Members Present: Adam Vauthier, Jamie Roessler, Kristy McKay, Dawn Dee Others Present: Jim Davison Adam Vauthier called the meeting to order at 12:08 p.m. Minutes from the June 29, 2016 Meeting Kristy McKay motioned to approve; seconded by Dawn Dee Motion Passed Unanimously Pre Application Discussions Vallentini - This pre app is for a vacation villa, the board discussed whether or not they were going to fund vacation homes. More importantly at this time the board is going to wait until they are no longer living there to fund an application. Paumies Porkies - Application is for paint the town to paint for the Paumies Porkies building on Commercial Street. The application is to match the paint and have volunteers paint the building. The board discussed their intention to see the full application be submitted. Smelter City Brewing - Smelter City put in multiple applications around $54,000 in grant funds. The board discussed an amount that we would like to see the applicant submit for us to consider. Dawn Dee stated that she didn’t feel we should give more than $30,000 to a single business during this fiscal year given our total budget. The board members agreed. Consensus was to ask the applicant to submit 30,000 worth of applications. Toni Phillips - A pre application was submitted for two blade signs for her two different businesses. The board felt that the application was sound and would entertain the applicaiton for both signs. Coffee Corral - Submitted an application for $16,000 for a structural foundation project. The board discussed the fact that the maximum allowed in the fiscal year for said project type is $12,500 and said that they would appreciate and entertain an application for a request for that amount of money. The project fits into the goals of the URA Board. 118 East 7th Street | Anaconda, MT 59711 | 406-563-5538  Anaconda Deer Lodge County Urban Renewal Agency Certified Values Statement for FY 2016-2017 The board discussed the documents sent from the treasurer's office about the certified tax values for 2016 - 2017. Jim Davison explained that when the new increment was applied to the current mills the TIF fund will be around $72,000 dollars in June 2017. Next Meeting Next meeting will take place when Jim Davison has received applications. Miscellaneous Proposal from ALDC will be approved at the Commission meeting August, 16th 2016.
