APPROVAL OF MINUTES The members had the opportunity to review the minutes of the last meeting. Motion to approve minutes made by Chuck Stokke. Seconded by Fred Boyer. Motion passed by acclamation. DISCUSSION The only matter on the Agenda for discussion was a Wildlife Management Plan. After a recap of the events at the Commission meeting when the Taskforce Report was presented. It was agreed that until the ADLC Commission took formal action to move forward with the adoption of a Wildlife Management Plan and determine how it wanted to proceed there was no authority by the Taskforce to move forward with a Wildlife Management Plan. A draft Wildlife Management Plan based upon the Plan developed by the Town of Phillipsburg and approved by the FWP Commission was presented to the Taskforce members and those in the audience requesting copies. It was agreed that once the ADLC Commission made its decision on how it wanted to go forward, that this draft would be used as a starting point. The Chairman the opened the meeting up to discussion on the issue of Urban Wildlife. Much opinion was expressed much of which concerned mountain lions and which opinions directly contradicted the testimony given by Kirstie Yeager, the FWP biologist serving ADLC and the surrounding area, before the ADLC Commission when the Taskforce Report was made. Statements were made by the public both for and against adopting a plan that involved culling the urban deer population. It was established that despite previous requests, no enforcement of MCA 87-6-216 Unlawful Supplemental Feeding has been implemented. After an agreement that Chairman Wyant would request that the matter come before the ADLC Commission for a decision, discussion was ended. ADJOURNMENT The meeting was adjourned at approximately 8:05 pm. 1|Page
