PLAN COMMISSION MINUTES FEBRUARY 28, 2012 MEMBERS PRESENT: Mr. Foltz made a motion to approve the Greg Spencer, President minutes from December 6, 2011 in form only. Mike Dauss, Vice President Mr. Spyers seconded the motion. Motion Gene Yates, Member passed 6 yes, 0 no. John Suko, Member Darin Foltz, Member Mr. Spyers made a motion to approve the Mike Spyers, Member minutes from the January 24, 2011 meeting. Mr. Foltz seconded. Motion passed 6 yes, 0 no. MEMBERS ABSENT: Joseph Newman, Member Deborah Nelson, Member BUSINESS: Robert Schuler, Member Mr. Spencer thanked all of the members for coming to the meeting today. There is no OTHERS PRESENT: business on the agenda but there are a few Frank Owens, Development Director things he would like to talk about. MISCELLANEOUS Mr. Owens updated the Board on his first couple of months being the Building Commissioner and upcoming situations for the Building Commissioner’s Office. Mr. Spencer asked the members to come up with something that is important for this Commission to work on for the community that could be discussed at the meetings there are not petitions to be heard. Appoint (volunteer) up to three (3) members of the Plan Commission to join President Spencer, Director Owens and Counsel Byer as a delegation to John Suko, Member represent the Anderson Plan Commission before the Madison County Plan Gene Yates, Member Commission at their next regularly scheduled meeting that we can be placed Joseph Newman, Member on their agenda. Darin Foltz, Member VI. Appoint a Commission member to chair an Ad Hoc Committee to research Michael Spyers, Member and investigate modifying the City of Anderson’s Animal Control Ordinance Deborah Nelson, Member to allow for certain animals currently restricted and to report findings of such back to the commission at its next regularly scheduled meeting. ATTORNEY VII. Appoint three (3) additional members to the Ad Hoc Committee to research William Byer and investigate modifying the City of Anderson’s Animal Control Ordinance to allow for certain animals currently restricted.
