to the public. She is concerned about the amount and quality of drugs coming into the
community. She stated the effects of chemical abuse is ongoing and sobriety is a tough
challenge. If there are people who are suffering, the community can work on educational
components. Commander Lenzmeier stated residents can call 911 if they have concerns about
drug use with their family members.
Mayor Bukkila said she has had people in the community reach out to her stating they have a
problem. She stated an increase in theft goes along with drug use. Commander Lenzmeier
stated School Resource Officers give presentations to kids in elementary, middle, and high
school about the effects of drugs.
Mayor Bukkila stated many of the drugs are in pill form that may appear to be a prescription
drug. Commander Lenzmeier agreed, and the street drugs are unknown; they look professional
in their packaging but you do not know what you are getting.

SUITE 102 – TASTY TACO – ARMANDO OCAMPO AND VANESSA MEDINA
(APPLICANTS)
