ANDOVER BOARD OF REVIEW (CONTINUED) MAY 3, 2022 – MINUTES The Board of Review was called to order by Mayor Sheri Bukkila at 7:01 p.m., Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at the Andover City Hall, 1685 Crosstown Boulevard NW, Andover, Minnesota. Councilmembers present: Jamie Barthel, Ted Butler, Valerie Holthus and Randy Nelson Councilmember absent: None Appointed Alternate Board Member: Jim Dickinson, City Administrator Also Present: Jason Dagostino, Anoka County Residential Supervisor Mr. Dickinson indicated this is a continued Board of Review meeting from April 18, 2022. Direction to the County Assessor and staff was to work with the property owners that had attended the meeting and to revisit their properties. Mr. Dagostino asked for the record to show that the following three parcels have been revisited and two of the three property’s valuations have changed:  21-32-24-31-0007 $572,700 $528,000  28-32-24-32-0057 $358,300 $320,000  35-32-24-22-0086 $463,400 No change Mayor Bukkila asked what the standout was with the two parcels with the reduced valuations. Mr. Dagostino indicated the Assessor had not been in the properties for quite a while and during the visit it was determined the properties had not been updated, taking into consideration the limited updating other comparables were used. Motion by Butler, Seconded by Nelson recommending the Assessor’s list to the County Board. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Holthus, Seconded by Nelson, to adjourn. Motion carried unanimously.
