Larcom, Jr. Building, 2nd Floor Council Chambers, 301 E. Huron Street. ROLL CALL Present: 3 - Jane Lumm, Sumi Kailasapathy and Kirk Westphal Absent: 1 - Chip Smith APPROVAL OF AGENDA A motion was made by Councilmember Kailasapathy, seconded by Councilmember Westphal, that the Agenda be approved as presented. On a voice vote, the Chair declared the motion carried. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 18-1278 Council Liquor License Review Committee Meeting Minutes of May 11, 2018 Attachments: 05-11-18 liquor minutes.pdf A motion was made by Councilmember Westphal, seconded by Councilmember Kailasapathy, that the Minutes of May 11, 2018 be approved by the Commission and forwarded to the City Council. On a voice vote, the Chair declared the motion carried. RE-OPEN AGENDA A motion was made by Councilmember Westphal, seconded by Councilmember Kailasapathy, that the agenda be reopened to move Public Commentary to before New Business. On a voice vote, the Chair declared the motion carried. PUBLIC COMMENT None. NEW BUSINESS City of Ann Arbor Page 1 Council Liquor License Review Action Minutes July 20, 2018 Committee 18-1283 Resolution to Recommend Approval of Issuance of a Downtown Development District Liquor License to La Taqueria Ann Arbor, LLC A motion was made by Councilmember Westphal, seconded by Councilmember Kailasapathy, that the Resolution be recommended for approval to the City Council. On a voice vote, the Chair declared the motion carried. Enactment No: R-18-302 18-1284 Resolution to Approve a Request from Townies Brewery LLC for a New Micro-Brewer and Small Wine-Maker to be Located at 2350 W. Liberty Street A motion was made by Councilmember Kailasapathy, seconded by Councilmember Westphal, that the Resolution be recommended for approval.
