Present: 4- Jane Lumm, Kathy Griswold, Jeff Hayner and Ali Ramlawi City Clerk, Jacqueline Beaudry; Deputy City Clerk, Jennifer Alexa; City Treasurer, Michael Pettigrew; Assistant Treasurer, Crystal Allen; Building Offical, Glen Dempsey; Fire Marshall, Kathleen Summersgill; and Boards & Commissions Coordinator, Kelly Beattie were in attendance. APPROVAL OF AGENDA APPROVAL OF MINUTES 20-0198 Council Liquor License Review Committee Meeting Minutes - January 10, 2020 A motion was made by Councilmember Hayner, seconded by Councilmember Ramlawi, that the minutes be approved by the Committee. On a voice vote, the chair declared the motion carried. PUBLIC COMMENT Michael Kemsley, owner of Jagged Fork III LLC spoke in support of the resolution to recommend approval of issuance of a downtown development district liquor license to Jagged Fork III LLC. NEW BUSINESS 20-0191 Resolution to Recommend Approval of Issuance of a Downtown Development District Liquor License to Jagged Fork III LLC A motion was made by Councilmember Ramlawi, seconded by Councilmember Griswold, that the resolution be recommended for approval to the City Council. On a voice vote, the chair declared the motion carried and asked that the resolution appear on the February 3, 2020 City Council Agenda. By unanimous consent, the Committee adopted the recommendation of staff to issue no objections to the 2020 renewals. INFORMATION/UPCOMING BUSINESS The Committee was informed that Mammoth Distilling LLC, is no longer pursuing a new off-premises tasting room wine and spirits liquor license in the City of Ann Arbor. The Committee cancelled the February 14, 2020 Council Liquor License Review Committee meeting by unanimous consent. The Committee requested a report regarding the outcome of the MLCC hearing on Scorekeeper’s Bar by unanimous consent. ADJOURNMENT A motion was made by Councilmember Griswold, seconded by Councilmember Ramlawi, that the be Adjourn. On a voice vote, the Chair declared the motion carried.
