CALL TO ORDER
Councilmember Eaton called the meeting to order at 4:09 p.m.
ROLL CALL
Also in attendance Matt Rechtien-City Attorney, Howard Lazarus-City
Administrator
Present: 4- Jack Eaton, Kathy Griswold, Jeff Hayner and Jane Lumm
Absent: 1- Chip Smith
APPROVAL OF AGENDA
A motion was made by Councilmember Griswold, seconded by
Councilmember Lumm, that the agenda be Approved as ammended.
On a voice vote the chair declared the motion carried.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
19-0545 Council Policy Agenda Committee meeting minutes for March 6, 2019
A motion was made by Councilmember Griswold, seconded by
Councilmember Lumm, that the Minutes be Approved by the
Commission and forwarded to the City Council. On a voice vote, the
Chair declared the motion carried.
NEW BUSINESS
1. Discussion of proposed crosswalk law
2. Local Control over Renewable Energy Standards in Building Codes
Postponed. Added to unfinished business for April 23rd meeting
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
19-0134 Propose Council Resolution to support House Bill 4025
A motion was made by Councilmember Griswold, seconded by

Councilmember Lumm, that the Resolution be approved as
Amended. On a voice vote, the Chair declared the motion carried.
1. Continued discussion of the FY20 Legislative Agenda
Discussed draft language for future resolution expressing support for
Collective Bargaining

2. Quarterly Legislative Policy Update for Council

A motion was made by Councilmember Griswold, seconded by
Councilmember Hayner, that the meeting be Adjourned. On a voice
vote, the Chair declared the motion carried. Meeting was adjourned
at 5:10 p.m.
